a big change
My first full studio album “MOVE YOUR MOUTH!” will receive no boost from fbook/instgm ads. It has no sponsor, production team, or label. Every song, post, and caption have been created by me.
This album took me over two years to write, record, and produce. I’ve put my entire soul into the lyrics, sounds, and visuals for this next era.
Without getting too far into the weeds, I need to provide some context for what I’m about to say…
At first, I thought I’d poke fun. Using AI itself to reveal how dangerous it was making little videos or graphics along some witty lyrics or captions. These included everyone, not just writers, musicians, and artists. I tried to point out little ways it would replace our jobs until everything was automated.
Like many of us, I believed there was little harm in using it for little things here and there.
I have zero problem pointing out how wrong I was.
These AI’s are now learning at a rate far past what their creators predicted. Some have even begun warning against its implementation.
Back to my point…
The release date of my album coincides with a supposed update to meta platforms where fbook, Instgm, and whtsap will be able to train their AI on my music profiles. In the near future, there will be an AI music artist that sounds like me, with a better voice. It will have access to any instrument and know how play it with the emotion of (insert your favorite musician here). As well as being equipped with fully automated promotion tools that are more consistent than any label that will ever exist.
Change is hard and sometimes it really sucks,
but i'm not interested in selling my soul.
I will be posting less on these platform and updates will cease in 2027. Today marks the first day in the painstaking process of starting over. Ive done it before, i'll do it again.
